NOAA's Custom Chart Application

Starting in 2021, NOAA began the process of cancelling its traditional paper and raster nautical chart products.  This process will be completed in December 2024, at which point traditional paper charts will no longer be available.  However, recognizing that there was still a demand for paper charts, NOAA developed the NOAA Custom Chart (NCC).  The NCC is an online application that enables users to create their own customized nautical charts directly from the latest official NOAA electronic navigational chart (NOAA ENC®) data. application.  This seminar will include a tutorial on how to use the NCC, as well as give information on a number of other navigation products and services that NOAA provides.
