Dave has spent his whole life messing about with boats mainly at his family cottage on the Trent Severn Waterway. Dave and Kathy came to cruising in 2005 buying their first keel boat, a CS27 and immediately setting off for a 3 week cruise to the North Channel. Since then, they have enjoyed every summer exploring hidden nooks and popular anchorages around Georgian Bay and the North Channel. Dave loves absorbing and sharing cruising information via GLCC Harbour Reports and enjoys maintaining and upgrading their boat to ensure it is in top condition for next year’s cruising adventures. Dave and Kathy are GLCC Port Captains for Lion’s Head and Dave is a Director at Large for the GLCC.
Dave and his wife Kathy live in London Ontario and sail out of the beautiful harbour in Lion’s Head. Dave, Kathy and the "Good Idea”, their Catalina 34 sailboat, have cruised extensively around Georgian Bay and the North Channel
