Rig Maintenance and Tuning

Body
If you cruise under sail do you know how to properly set up your own rig? Learn the key aspects of rig tuning and maintenance from one of the best in the business in this new webinar!

As sailboats age, one of the common problems is overlooking the proper maintenance of the rigging components. If the rig is not properly set up and tuned, the boat may be more difficult to handle and less comfortable to sail, especially as the wind builds. Additinally, a poorly maintained rig can also quickly become a hazard.

Joe Parker will provide guidance for proper set up and maintenance of sail boat rigging. He will address rake, bend characteristics, sided to side tune and how to recognize some common pitfalls. He will also address proper and regular maintenance measures. There will also be a nujmber of photos illustrating what not to do and opinions of what to consider when purchasing a new (to you) boat.
